Site selection was important here and part of Solarchitect input, the lovely views are of course mostly in the opposite direction from the sun, but with good insulation and window placement the house remains warm throughout the year and cool when needed.!
The house follows the hill forms and fits in with the surroundings well. The design has resulted in a comfortable place to live which the Owners are enjoying greatly.
